     The Flash-Brake HEM-LOCK is a premium edge seaming tool that is perfect for putting the finishing touches on your standing seam roofing projects.      The cam operated design is adjustable for any material or gauge of roofing panel. Using the included adjustment tool it is easy to set the tool once and get perfect results quickly and consistently for the rest of the project. Unlike other tools, the cam also allows the HEM-LOCK to operate in two directions. This makes the tool safer to use while on the roof by pulling the handle up, toward the ridgeline, rather than out over the edge of the roof. It also allows the tool to operate from below the roof line by pulling the handle down, making it easy to use from a ladder or on scaffolding.
 
     The HEM-LOCK is designed to work with SMP, Kynar, and other coated metal roofing panels as well. Featuring plastic inserts and a grip pad to prevent slipping while in use, it is built to avoid scratching saving you time, money, and headaches on your most valuable projects. The HEM-LOCK seaming tool is available in short and long handle versions. The short handle version features a more compact design while the long handle version offers more leverage and allows the tool to be used farther from the edge when working on the roof.
